Welcome
to Suburban Hills School.
Please take a few moments to review the following which we
hope will be helpful to you and your child during the year.
|
| What
to Bring: |
| Send
your child to school with an extra set of clothing and review
the clothes as the seasons change. Socks, underwear, pants,
shirts, etc. should be stored in a clear plastic Ziploc bag
and labeled. These clothes should be left in school and will
be used if your child has an "accident". A small blanket
and crib-sized sheet for naptime are required for full day students.
The sheets must be taken home each week to be laundered. A smock
is also needed for art. |
| Pick
Up Policy: |
| If
someone other than a USUAL family member is picking up your
child from school, you must give advanced notice on a daily
basis. Please be sure that the person who will pick up your
child carries identification! |
| Absence
and Illness: |
| If
your child becomes ill please notify us at once so that we may
take the necessary precautions and if necessary, notify parents.
Should a child become ill at school he or she will be given
a place to rest and the parent or guardian will be contacted
to pick up the child. Our school policy regarding communicable
diseases can be obtained at time of enrollment. |
| Our
Calendars/Schedules: |
Our
school calendar will be given to you at the time of enrollment
with a list holiday closings. We also follow weekly themes and
you are provided with a monthly calendar and a school menu.
Suburban Hills offers very
flexible schedule options. We offer full day and half day schedules
and are open from 7:00 A.M. - 6:30 P.M. For current tuition
rates please contact us.

|
What
We Did Today:
|
| Outside
your child's classroom you will see a daily message to parents
indicating a summary of the daily activities. Student progress
reports are issued in January and June. Parent-teacher conferences
are usually held in January or upon request. |
